This circuit was used by the Wirral 100 Motor Club for two years, 1969 and 1970. As there does not seem to be any information on it anywhere on the internet and I had a few photos, I thought I would set up this web page. The circuit was on roads used I believe at that time to train army drivers at Kinmel Park, near Bodelwyddan, Clwyd, North Wales.

I seem to recall there were 2 race meetings in 1969 and 2 race meetings in 1970. I raced there on 3 occasions and fell off twice. I rode an Ariel Arrow, which was in full race trim with twin carbs. and works type fully tapered expansion chambers. The track was a bit narrow, so only 6 solo riders were allowed in each race. The sidecar races had only 2 outfits in each race, they started 30 seconds apart and if one caught the other they were not allowed to overtake. However it was a great little circuit on which to hone your racing skills and was like a miniature TT course, with plenty of variety in a length of just over ¾ mile.

Start later moved in 1970 to bottom of circuit by huts (now adjacent to new A55 road).
